We go to Home Depot to pick out some shelves, which we found, along with a storage thing you can hang down from your ceiling. We go home, and start to assemble the shelves. Only to discover that we are missing some parts. So we take it apart and go back to Home Depot to get another one. We go home, start to assemble and again, missing parts. Now, we checked the instructions many times to make sure it just wasn't us but indeed the 2nd box was also missing essential parts. So we just took it back and decided to go try somewhere else. We go to Costco, found one we liked better, and it was cheaper. Score! So we go home, put it together and tada!!
Now on to the hanging storage (I really don't know what to call it...). We realize we need a stud finder so we can hang it up. We pull ours out to find that something happened to the batteries inside and there was battery acid everywhere. Back to Home Depot to get one. Then get home and realized we needed a battery for the stud finder. So on to CVS we go...gotta love that 30% off! Finally get home to put it together. At this time I needed to get ready for my girls night I was going to and so Kris finished the job... Who knew that trying to be more organized would be such hard work?? Lets just say the projects might be one hold for a little bit...well at least a week or two. :)
The finished product...keep in mind we still need to bring stuff out to fill it but...you get the idea.

Wow! I'm not jealous of the work it took, but the garage looks great. Someday we will do the same. That's if we're ever done with school so we can have some money!! That would be so much fun if you guys came to town. We'll be back to AZ in Nov. for a week or so (Darren has the whole month off!!) so we'll have to get together then and talk about a time when you could come here. We'll have to get a sitter and see a show or something.
Way to organize! How are you guys? We need to have a roomate reunion. Miss ya! Barb
