Kris' American Idol
We all know how much Kris loves Nascar, but do you know who his favorite driver is?? Number 99 Carl Edwards! Well, last week both Kris and I got an email from F1 Race Factory (a go-kart racing place) saying that Carl was going to be there on the 19th from 11-1...of course we had to go. :) It was actually pretty fun! They had him come out and talk to the crowd for a bit, then there was some question/answer time, and then they drew some names for people to race against him. I was hoping that Kris would get called but he didn't...oh-well. It wasn't overly crowded so Kris was able to get his car signed and I got a picture with him. I thought it was really fun to watch Kris being able to be in the same room as Carl. :)

Kris - this is why I love you. A 12 year old boy in a man's body. How cute are you to go see your idol. It's what makes you guys so much fun!

Hey I could barely squeak out a coherent sentence when i met my driver the ever affable Kasey Kahne. Jason even suggested naming Elliot Kasey, but I reminded him I had an ex named Casey. Of course Elliot is definitely a popular name in NASCAR as well! ie (Sadler and Bill)
