Happy Helpers

Okay...maybe Kris and Rusty (my bro-in-law) don't look so happy but they were definitely little helpers! This past Saturday we went down to my parents house to help them clean and pack before they leave in a week and a half (crazy!). Kris and Rusty were outside helping my dad and Trisha and myself were inside cleaning out the pantry. Now you are probably thinking that wasn't a big deal BUT let me tell you...it was a chore! My parents have this huge walk in pantry and Trisha and I totally cleared it! My mom wanted to get rid of everything so the things that weren't expired Trisha and I split up. I had her take more home because she has 4 kids but still look at what I scored!! And that's not including a couple of more boxes with canned goods in it. Don't my nieces look like they are having so much fun?!
And here is Cade helping out in the garage...he was picking up the dirt from the pile and putting it into the garbage can. So cute!In the afternoon the boys took a trip to the dump and it ended up being 1100 pounds!! I guess after living in a house for 20+ years, things add up! Finally after a long day of cleaning, organizing, and moving furniture downstairs it was time for a swim! My nieces were waiting all day for this and Kristin even said that I was being mean because I wouldn't let her take a break from working. :) The swim was well worth the wait! It was a perfect end for the hard working day.
