Yes, we are still alive. :)

It has been awhile so here are some things that have happened...

Conner left for his mission on Dec. 7th. We hear from him every week and he is doing really well and getting used to the London life, including driving on the other side of the road...that would be so weird! Here is Kris and Conner the night before he left:
Christmas was a busy but fun time. We went to many family parties and had a blast doing so! It is such a blessing to have such loving families. We are so grateful for everyone! Kris received a Playstation 3 for Christmas and he couldn't be happier. We got him some fun games and even one that I will play so, we have had many fun hours playing games together.:
For New Years Eve weekend Kris and I drove up to Utah for our niece's baby blessing. It was so much fun!! I got to see my friend Sarah from D.C and it was fun to hang out with Todd, Kim, and Emily. It was a short visit but it was good to get away for a few days. Here is Todd and Emily on her blessing day and then one of us with her. Keep in mind that the picture of us was taken right before we left to drive home and we had just woken up...not the best. :)

This month has been pretty quiet. We started painting our place! It's nice to have a different color on the wall besides "pearl". We aren't quite done yet but hopefully we will be soon. Here is a picture of Kris cutting the edges on the hard to reach wall. Yes it was scary being up there but hey...he got it done and it looks great!
Right now we are painting, I'm working, and Kris is back to school. Things are pretty boring and quiet with us but I'll try to write more and think of exciting things for us to do. :)
