Wednesday we just bummed it at the house and took naps. Poor Kris drove ALL night and maybe got to sleep for about an hour while I drove. But luckily it was really too cold to go and do a ton of stuff outside so we didn't mind snuggling up with blankets for a little snooze. We had a great Thanksgiving dinner at my aunt Gretchen's. It was so fun to see family that I haven't seen in years! For the meal we were in charge of making Jell-O. My sister has this Jell-o salad recipe that everyone goes nuts over...so we decided to try it out. This was my first time making it and I think it turned out pretty well. Everyone loved it at the dinner and said that I have to come every year and bring it. Thanks for the recipe Trish!
Here is a pic of our family on Staci's first Thanksgiving.
Gotta love "the kids" playing with the train tracks...
Friday we went to my grandparents house so we could have some one on one time with them. They are so sweet! They loved Staci and Staci loved them right back. I just love the way she is looking at Grandpa. Melts my heart.

Saturday Conner and Kris went snowboarding and us ladies went out for some yummy treats and shopping. My friend opening a shop in Utah called The Chocolate. If you go there...you must go try this. She has a store in Orem and West Jordan. We couldn't finish everything that we had because we were all on such a sugar high!! Super yummy stuff.

It gets tiring being out with the ladies...
Staci LOVED Emily. I think that she knew that Emily was a kid too. Emily could always make her smile and laugh. They really were so cute together.

Sunday morning we got up and got ready to head out. This is what my car looked like...
Looks like they were a few days late with the "blizzard of 2010". We probably got on the road to go about 9:30 and didn't make it home till about midnight. The weather was pretty bad getting out of Utah...then with all of the bathroom stops...stop to eat...and then the traffic jam at Wickenburg...it was definitely a tiring night. But we made it home and all is well.
THANK YOU Todd and Kim for letting us crash at your place. We had such a fun weekend and we already miss you guys! Love you!
