Bring it on!

For the past 7 weeks Kris and I have been doing P90X. We decided that we were going to do the whole workout program, no matter what happened. So even though the videos do get a little old and sometimes we feel really tired, we still make sure to do a video 6 days a week. We took measurements two weeks after we started, then again last night. Have I lost you ask?? NO! (well a little off my waist but that is it!) No measurements lost, and no weight lost. So as you can see I am a little frustrated. I can totally see a difference on Kris (how is it that guys can lose SO fast!), but nothing on me.

After a little bit of pouting about it last night I am ready to kick it into high gear. I am always telling people that only they can change something about themselves if they don't like it. So instead of complaining about it, get out and do something! This week is the 2nd recovery week to finish phase 2 and then on Monday we start the last phase. So for the next 5.5 weeks of the program I need to get serious. I need to watch what I eat better, stop baking goodies, and some days I am going to do doubles. I do feel like I'm getting stronger and I can even do a pull up by myself (which is a HUGE thing for me) but I need to do something to shock my body so it changes, even just a little bit. On every video before the workout it says "BRING IT ON"...oh it is being broughten P90X!! So (raising my glass) here is to the jump start for the next and final phase of this program. Cheers!

Way to go! I have been trying to get started on something for a while and have seriously thought about p90x. You'll have to know how you guys liked it when you are all finished.

You haven't lost any weight because you don't have any to loose, you crazy girl!

I second what Alissa says... ha ha! I bet you're smokin' hot-toned now though. I mean, c'mon you can do a pull-up! I can barely pull-up half my pants anymore! Ha ha! jk, that's not really funny... okay, maybe it is. Either way, I think you're going to have to show your before/after pics... just to make us all jealous if nothing else! Ha ha! Love you guys!

Congrats!! If we lived closer to each other I'd say we should start walking together now that the weather is cooling down! Walking is one of the only ways I melt off weight! Keep it up though!

Same on the not needing to loose weight...you are perfect right now. We have been wanting to start again this week and for THREE NIGHTS IN A ROW Cade has been up at night and 5:00 AM comes WAY too early. Good job with sticking to it...bring it!

well i think you look pretty fabulous! but i DO HATE how guys can just lose everything so quick! What's up with that? Good for you for finishing P90X- we always start and never finish- maybe i should hang out at your place more and get it done! Thanks for coming to the lake! We had so much fun seeing you guys. I'll call you soon to hang!

Okay - are you just trying to make me feel bad about myself? You guys are hard core - but that's awesome. We keep saying we'll start, but for some reason ice cream and TV sounds better.

Congrats on your great news! I have been meaning to tell you for a while. That is so wonderful!
