Christmas Recap

Yes Dad, the hot chocolate does get cold after 3 weeks. :) December went by way too fast! I can't believe its 2009 already! Happy New Year!!!

Christmas was such a good time! We had many parties, family events, and a very fun house guest. My baby sister Alissa has been staying with us on her break from school. Which she didn't mind, our guest bed is very comfy. :) Christmas Eve we all stayed down at my sister Trisha's house so we could all be together on Christmas morning. It was so much fun watching the kids getting excited to go downstairs to see what Santa brought them. I swear...that is why you have kids!! It makes all the difference on Christmas morning! We had a fun morning eating breakfast with tamales, eggs, hash browns, sausage, cinnamon rolls, and orange juice. I grew up having a big breakfast with my family every Christmas morning. It was fun to still have that with everyone. Here is a picture of us at my aunt Tina's house on Christmas Eve.
After that we went to Kris' dad's house where we ate again! (Thank goodness for New Years resolutions!). While I was there my parents called me...YAY! It was so fun to talk to them! They have Skype now so the next day we went out and bought a webcam and registered for Skype so we can talk to them for free! I know it would probably be more exciting if I had kids or something but just me will have to do for now. HA! After I got off the phone with my parents, Conner (Kris' bro) called from London! He sounded so good and I can't believe that this time next year he will be here. Time flies!

Then we went to his Mom's. She got us a romantic night away at a resort in Payson. She kept on saying how romantic it was and stuff and then I realized..."wait a minute, you are giving us this cause you want grand kids!". haha I totally caught on to her game! It was a very sweet gift though and I think we are going to use it for our Anniversary in March.

I am so grateful that we have both of our families here and we can share the Holidays with loved ones. Hope everyone had a great Christmas! Again, I didn't take any pictures but today is a new year so hopefully I will be taking a lot this year. My number 1 resolution!! :)
